EventGhost is a free Productivity Extension for Chrome. You could download the latest version crx file and install it.
More About EventGhost
This extension has two functions:
1) It triggers an event when a download is complete.
2) It allows you to trigger user-defined events based on the situation in the browser, ie. selection, link, media (image, audio, video) or general.
This requires, that in EventGhost some Webserver (Webserver plugin) ran.
If it runs, you have to make no changes.
If it is not running, you must run one. Selected root directory may be empty.
Credentials can also be empty (do equally in plugin and in extension).
