More About Lesson Plan Submit

An add-on for simplifying submission of teacher lesson plans for quick and easy comment by a reviewer. Developed by Memphis Teacher Residency for review of teaching resident lesson plans, but also useful for schools and other teacher training programs. When you click "Submit for Review" it sends an email to the specified recipients and also shares the Doc with them for review and comment. It also allows the user to share the enclosing folder which is useful if that folder has ancillary materials for the lesson plan.

Other features include:
• Recipients do not have to have a google account in order to comment on the document that they receive. This is helpful if a lesson plan reviewer does not have a google account and may not be willing to sign up for an account. Their comments and suggestions will show up as anonymous, but if the recipient does have a google account and is logged in, their comments and suggestions will have their google account name on them.
• Timestamps are logged in the add-on sidebar for the date and time of submission(s).
• There are fields which allow for self-assessment of lesson plans and identification of focus areas that the submitting teacher may want feedback on. This is especially useful when plans are not simply being submitted for compliance reasons but as part of an intentional effort to grow teachers in their planning skill and for reviewer(s) to give them meaningful feedback.
