Which products are especially often bought together? Every Onlineshop owner is asking this question but an analysis in Google Analytics isn’t fairly easy.
So the main idea of the Related Products and Top Carts Add-On is that you identify products which are most often bought together: The top carts. This is done by comparing each products in each transaction with each other.
You just have to select your Google Analytics Account, Property and View. Choose the time period you want to analyze: from 14 to 210 days. Decide how many products per cart you want to compare. You can even exclude products for example free gifts or special holiday offers. Click on analyze.
What you now get is a list of your carts and the amount of transactions how often these carts are checked out together. For example: Green Veltliner and Red Veltliner are bought 120 times together. Riesling and Chardonnay are bought 117 times together. The higher the amount of transactions, the bigger is the relation of the products.
Furthermore you get a list for each of your products and the amount of transactions how often this products is bought together with another product. For Example: A Green Veltliner is bought 20 times together with a Red Veltliner, 15 times together with a Riesling and 5 times together with a Chardonnay.
Top carts and related products are exciting when you want to optimize your product bundles and product recommendations like customer also boughts.
