Don’t crash is an action game that involves two cars, a two-lane race track and a computer mouse to control the game. Originally designed for kids, this game has been a favorite application to be downloaded on different mobile phone platforms. Unlike any other race games that you have to race against other cars and reach the finish line ahead of the rest of the pack in order to win, this game is actually making the two cars avoid from crashing into each other. You will really love the game because of the unique game play that it features, furthermore, the sound of the crash king is very funny to listen to.
Avoid the other car
As mentioned earlier, the game features two cars of different colors that run opposite direction in a two-lane race track that is in an oval shape. Cars will automatically run around the race track opposite of each other and like most racing games, other cars change lanes in order to get ahead of the game. However, in this game you have to avoid the car that you race against as its coming straight at you to waste your car. The game does not actually require you to run a number of laps just like what is usual to these types of games. Instead, you gain points each time you avoid the car that is coming straight at you.
The race track also features a circumference indicator. This is where the points count. Take, for example, you and the other car are moving at an opposite direction and every time you make one revolution around the track and avoid the other car; you will gain one point. You can only avoid the car by clicking the mouse’s left click button then your car will automatically change its lane to avoid the incoming car. As you continue to avoid the car at every revolution that you make around the track, you get 1 point for each. On the other hand, once you crash into the other car, you will never get a point even if you were able to make one full circumference of the race tract. Therefore, you cannot gain a score if you are unable to achieve one full circumference and avoid the other car in each revolution that you make within the track.
Another feature of the game that makes it a great challenge for any other player is that it gradually increases the speed that the cars travel. It was previously mentioned that the cars will automatically run around the race tract, the speed that the cars are moving will have a significant increase each time you earn a point making it more difficult to react quickly in order to avoid the incoming car. This part right here the most fun part for the you will really struggle to avoid the other car as they gain more and more speed and you just laugh about it when you crash.
Overall, the designer of Don’t Crash didn't intend to design this game for adults, instead he designed this for young kids in order to help increase the kids reaction time to certain things that they encounter every day. However, as the game was published there were adults who enjoyed it very much thus the popularity of the game increased.
