*Chrome 32 build stopped correctly displaying Dev Tools Extension Pane extensions, ie., CSS Compare. Displays correctly in Chrome Canary (V34+) CSS Compare was created out of the need for a tool to view the differing CSS properties of two DOM elements. When developing complex web apps the applied CSS on two elements can quickly add up to make it difficult to find the minor differences on two elements that were intended to have the same styles. With a simple selection of the two elements, the differences are available for inspection in CSS Compare. Select layout style of CSS values, side-by-side or top-bottom. Instructions: Load up the dev tools Open the Elements panel Expand the CSS Compare pane Click on the first element you would like to compare Click on the second element. The CSS Compare pane will show the differing CSS properties. You don't need to inspect any elements. The table columns will be titled with the elements' IDs, if exists, or 1st.tagname if the elements are the same type. Please leave feedback for suggestions/improvements or write a review.
