YSlow 3.1.2 CRX for Chrome

YSlow analyzes web pages and suggests ways to improve their performance based on a set of rules for high performance web pages. YSlow grades web page based on one of three predefined ruleset or a user-defined ruleset. It offers suggestions for improving the page's performance, summarizes the page's components, displays statistics about the page. See the complete changelog at https://github.com/marcelduran/yslow/blob/master/CHANGELOG Limitations (http://yslow.org/ruleset-limitations) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Since Google Chrome has no API for built-in Network Panel available yet, YSlow for Chrome relies on cross-domain AJAX requests to all resources found on the page being analyzed in order to get HTTP headers information, thus do expect some limitation. e.g: * Redirects are resolved on AJAX requests with no information about the number of requests involved (301, 302), so redirects rule is ignored (no penalty); * XHRs (AJAX) on the page can't be detected, thus 2 AJAX rules are ignored (no penalty); * Post onload information per resource on the page is not available, hence an experimental technique is used instead which relies on reloading the entire page inside an iframe.
