This extension will display full-screen and audible alerts about 3-6 minutes before your battery fully discharges* **.
Alerts will be displayed on Chrome OS™ only. If installed on other platforms, eg. because of extension synchronization settings, this extension will do nothing.
* Browser manufacturers' support for the Battery Status interface, on which this extension relies, is not strong. The interface is obsolete in other web browsers (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Battery_Status_API) and may be removed from future versions of Chrome OS™, which will result in this extension ceasing to function.
** Under certain circumstances, eg. when there is an increase in the power consumption rate when the battery is almost fully discharged, this extension may fail to display an alert.
