Tabloc is a free Accessibility Extension for Chrome. You could download the latest version crx file or old version crx files and install it.

This extension adds "Lock Tab" icon in the tool bar.
When you click links in the locked tab, current page is preserved and new tab opens.
Not works in extensions gallery and framed pages.
