DanMage is a free Fun Extension for Chrome. You could download the latest version crx file or old version crx files and install it.

Sliding/Scrolling comments on top of the video being played, from right side to left side, A.K.A. bullet comments, barrage comments, danmu or danmaku.
Support Twitch, YouTube, Crunchyroll, Hulu & Funimation.
When watching live videos (including Twitch videos), it converts latest chats to scrolling comments, displaying on top of any live stream video only from right to left. You could chat as usual and chat message will not be posted to danmage.com.
When watching playback videos, it loads comments from danmage.com and scrolls them from right to left. Comments will have to be posted to danmage.com first, separated from YouTube. Unfortunately, you won't see many comments to start with. Please invite your friends to join and post more comments (x_x).
You can sign in with your Google/Chrome account via the extension's icon to be able to sync settings cross devices and post scrolling comments on YouTube, Crunchyroll, Hulu and Funimation. Even if you don't sign in, settings can be preserved & recovered per video site.
Please report any issue you found ASAP! I won't be able to monitor each site's changes which might break this extension at any time. Thank you!
