More About API-Killer-Beacon

This web-extension disables (null'ify/purge/kill) HTML5's JavaScript Beacon/Ping-API,
in addition, it also blocks any and all requests that uses the PING protocol,
it's like a firewall - for PING requests.

In-case there is a web-page with a very strict 'Content-Security-Policy' HTTP-header,
that limits running JavaScript solutions from web-extensions on the actual page (for example addons.mozilla.org) - which will not allow my JavaScript to head-shot the sendBeacon method, the 'firewall' part is still sitting in the background,
stopping the actual HTTP-request, so it will never leave the browser,
effectively killing any option to send or receive anything 'beacon related'.

Use it at your discretion.

I've wrote this since uBlock-origin has an issue with beacon/ping blocking,
and the *$beacon rule I've used in one of my-lists,
was blocking download-requests (either browser initiated or the kind you've right click and choose "save-as"),
I think it was because those requests are marked as "other" (I belive since the browser overrides the mimetype to application/octet-stream internally to force download instead of opening for view...),
and the request-type "other" triggers the rule-blocking too.

I've basically made this web-extension for myself, and then decided to share it with everyone, because sharing is caring. it's nothing fancy but it is small, quick and it works. If you've enjoyed using it I'll be thrilled to hear all about it in the review section.

API-Killer-Beacon is 100% free (as beer..), include no ads (I hate those!), does NOT collect any data, include NO analytics and works entirely offline.
