More About Right Click Opens Link in New Tab
09.09.2017 - 5 tabs in one click bug fixed!
The way I use it:
left click - open on the spot,
middle click - open in new background tab,
right click - open in new foreground tab.
middle click on bookmarks - open in new foreground tab,
Remember: shift + right click to get the context menu for links.
Options:
- configure Right Click and Middle Click to open links in new Background or Foreground tab;
- remove target="_blank" from links (enabled by default). So there will be no more links that open in a new tab when left-clicked;
- set the middle click to open a bookmark in a new foreground tab.
A.k.a. InstaClick for Chrome - it's similar to Firefox's InstaClick.
Link opening is the most frequent user action, the way links open should be clear and consistent.
Of course it doesn't work on chrome's or https sites (their fault).
