Generating random numbers or strings can be a bit tricky. In fact, it is impossible to generate random numbers just by using software part of computer. This add-on gives you an ability to use sophisticated hardware random number generator located at random.org. random.org service provides random numbers generated from atmospheric noise, which is better than usual software pseudo-random generators. Only thing you need to do is to retreive free API key from the service and enter it inside the add-on.
You can generate this types of values:
- integer numbers
- decimal point numbers (1-20 decimal places)
- UUIDs
- text strings from user specified characters
Script is limited to generate up to 100 values at once (one value = one cell).
