Based on Google Maps, the W2MO supply chain functionality allows you to quickly analyze, design and optimize the entire logistics network with production sites, warehouses, suppliers and customers worldwide. The latest detailed map data enables high geographical proximity and visualization of the customer's and supplier's base. With so-called "heat maps" and "service areas" you can check the allocation and grouping of your customers. Special in-memory data management allows the handling of huge data volumes.
W2MO offers multiple options and algorithms for finding the best locations. Optimize your logistics network directly and interactively with the help of the drag-and-drop function.
W2MO Supply Chain Controlling with consideration of multidimensional tariff structures offers furthermore the possibility of precise cost mapping in the entire supply chain. Area related prices are supported by pre-defined or user definable polygons. Activity-based costing can be applied inside the locations as well. For example the difference between profitable and unprofitable products and processes can be calculated.
With the help of W2MO very precise default process times can be calculated and applied into the model using the integrated Video-Based Process Studies with privacy protection by a new face detection & blurring technology. This presents a basis for efficient improvement of the processes both in logistics and production.
W2MO uses standard times in production, warehouse and distribution logistics. They are the basis for an exact calculation of total labor efforts and costs for all logistic activities. When the total costs are calculated in detail they can be optimized - e. g. by using the built-in advanced mathematical optimization algorithms.
Many further mathematical algorithms are available in W2MO, e.g. optimization of product placement, tour building, optimal order sequencing, 3D-packaging or optimal staff planning.
W2MO provides an innovative solution for the automated creation of an optimized warehouse layout as well as the design and optimization of existing warehouses.
Even with small amount of information an optimized layout of a warehouse (also in 3D) will be generated quickly with few clicks. Input data are:
o Available space (with constraints), which include pick and replenishment areas
o Template racks which can be used for a new warehouse
o Planned automated sub-system
o Imported or created products and orders (including order lines)
Other parameters can be set such as means of transportation, storage of fast movers, maximal quantity of items per bin.
The automatic design of an optimal warehouse layout can also be used directly as a benchmark to your existing operation, providing essential hints for optimization potentials in the current warehouse.
W2MO – Case Pack Optimization offers a smart solution for 3D-packaging problems. A packing scheme can be calculated and presented in 3D with other editing functions. A special function is also the Case Pack Portfolio Optimization. The system calculates new Case Pack dimensions, which reduce the unused space.
3D simulation and animation of warehouse processes are enabled through the use of WebGL. Users can create their own 3D objects and upload them to W2MO. Very realistic views are supported.
The dynamic simulation allows “driving” around in your “own” warehouse, shows a real load preview and offers an optimal work load balance.
W2MO can be used directly out of the cloud or locally installed in the corporate network or in a private Cloud.
